My dear girls, as we close out that year 2016, let us never forget the lessons that we all have learned through out the year. For every hurt there is a blessings, for every trial there is a reasons, and for every storm there is a rainbow!! So here is to 2017, it is going to be a place of, "History, mystery and New beginnings!!"

The year has almost come to a close! For some of you girls it has been the best year get for you in every way. For others you may have walked through hell, either way we are about to embark on a new year!! A new beginning a fresh start! So let us not forget the past but let us hold tight to the hope of a better year!!!

So, growing up we all remember reading Dr. Seuss, and seeing the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I always loved that story; because it high-lighted how that one kind act can change a mean old soul. We never know how one small action can change someone's world forever. So as Christmas approaches, let us not forget to look beyond the Light, Gifts, and Food, let's remember that behind it all is a little bit more!!

Girls, Marry didn't know that she would be asked to be the mother of the One who created all creation. We never now what God will ask us in life. Don't ever think that you don't have worth, you are special, and God has a special plan for each of you lives. So live a life that when others see you they say, " That is a girl/young women that will do great things for God one day!"

~ Peace On Earth ~

    Our lives are all made up of choices, and the older that we get the more choices that we have to make and the consequences of those choices are something that we have to live with for the rest of our lives. The semester is finally over for most of us today. For some of us this semester didn't go so well and than for others it couldn't have been better. Either way, I want us to remember as we prepare for Christmas, what the biggest choice that was ever made was, and that was that God choose to send His only son to earth; to be born as a babe and than than to die for me and for you! So tell me my dear friend, will you choose to follow that babe in the manger? because in the end, that is what Christmas is all about! I choose to follow Him, what will you choose? It's true that the way is rough, and sometimes it is painful, but the road that Christ walked to the cross was more painful than any road that you or I will have to walk! Only you can make the Choice, if you want things in your life to Change, and if you want to live the most fulling life imaginable! So take a Chance with God and you will NEVER regret it!!

~ His Hand is Leading us ~

It's amazing to me how simple this quote is and yet it  is so hard for us to understand this when we are in the darkest hours of our lives. We  look for God in the midst of the chaos and pain, and yet He seems to be to far a way. Why is that? A friend once told me to not look for God in the midst of the trial, but to try and step back and find Him in the aftermath. At the time I thought that my friend was asking me to solve some complex riddle or something, but afterward I realized what he meant. God is not the author of confusion or of chaos; therefore if you try to seek Him there you wont find Him. He is in the clam after the storm. Sometimes the storms last a really long time. The pain doesn't immediately subside and the loss that we feel will be there forever. But if we look beyond the  darkness, we will see the light, and that is God. He is the light at the end of the tunnel. Tunnels can be long but eventually they will end. However, while we are in the tunnel it is the grace of God that we must rely on because God Himself isn't there. His spirit is in us, but too often we let grief over shadow it, and therefore we must trust in the grace of God to carry us through the storm. HE is there just not in the way we look for him, or expect Him to be there.  

~ Life is just a journey ~

One of my favorite quotes says " Life is just a journey drop your worry, you are going to turn out fine." Girls, life is a crazy roller-coaster ride, and sometimes we are going to fail; but it is in these times that we must take the most care to learn whatever lessons it is that God wants us to learn. We have to then turn around and get right back up. Often we will be tempted to give up, but always remember this poem, and you will be good...

It's that time of year to take a minute out of our day to stop and help those in need! As we draw near to the time of our Savor's birth, let us remember what He did for us in sending His son to earth. So don't forget to turn around and help that person behind you; you never know how a small kindness could save a life!!

Beautiful girl, you know who you are! Here is a reminder that no matter what the world tells you, you're gorgeous and pretty! Don't look to the world to tell you what true beauty is, just go look in the mirror and you will see the most beautiful girl/women in the whole world; because you were made perfect by our heavenly Father, and everything that He makes is full of beauty and purpose!
